we are about to go 'offline' for a short time..we will try to get our 2013 calendar written and uploaded.
You know we are about to get a great variety of holiday videos , for the next few weeks.
We are going to upload a new slideshow to YouTube, it should be called Happiness.
It is full of what we consider the 'best' photos of 2012. It hasn't been uploaded just yet.

the cleaverb Top 5 of 2012 in a few days
Hey, we are starting to feel better, physically. Through the last week, I have had a headache .
Not bad, one simple asprin will take care of it. But it was hard for me to 'look' at a computer screen, or a television: the light just seemed too intense at times. So for almost 2 days i didn't get online, which is
quite incredible for an internet addict like me!
Alright, so we have some work to do: we never did fix our first YouTube 'best of 12' playlist ,
but i think there will be less of a problem with our Top 5, because they are the property of the legal
copyrighted owners..
The new Mylene Farmer album "Monkey Me" is pretty good. I haven't listened to it with the volume turned up real loud, but itsounds great at half volume or less...
The new Linstrom album Smalhans is surpisingly great for an instrumental album. He does inspire me to get back to my keyboards...
We didn't like the new Keisha album Warrior. To much profanity.
We did like the new Serena Ryder album Harmony , she has a great vocal presence.The music is still far from mainstream, and really quite distinct. I still can't believe that cute face has those fiery vocals...
And finally, the new Seeed album (2012) is really fun to hear. Anyone who can mix horns and drums,
reggae and rock into one album is going to score highly on our album charts. So great to hear Seeed again.
We never did hear any more news from Technoir , and Leslies' new album will not be out until February...

darn it, i got sick.
cleaverb has taken ill. It doesn't seem to be serious, but he is in a lot of pain right now.
It's like i got stung or bitten on my jaw. my jaw swelled up, and makes it hard to eat.
by saturday afternoon, it seemed as if we were getting back to normal, but then the swelling
and the pain returned. I am really bored with this - what ever it is, wishing i could get back to normal.

It's Black Friday 2012
Status update: Everything appears to be back to normal with our server. In fact, i think it may be
better than ever ; pages load faster. We took the time to look into several alternatives to our free
service, but really they only want $4 a month for 'regular' customers, and that isn't bad.
You could say that the company has a slightly marred reputation, after reading a few reviews out there.
It is possible that they just changed owners, given that we are seeing a new domain as the owners.
At least we wonder. We did see some offers for about $3 a month, that were pretty good hosts.
I like my hosts to be close to the midwest, and those folks were in Chicago. I just get better response
times from midwestern ips.
Did i ever mention that our free host does not allow mp3s, not even when you pay for their service.
So what will happen with the cleaverb Top 5 of 2012 ? Yea, it will most likely be a YouTube playlist.
We found a terrific deal on some fine speakers, so we are now back to designing speaker enclosures.
And work. And shopping online! We haven't got past buying 'presents' for cleaverb yet, but sooner or later we will have to think about buying gifts for family. I'd like to wait until Dec 24th, cash is always a fine
present!

Status Update
We were able to get a partial update to our main page! It was just unfortunate that we tried
to update our page at the wrong time yesterday - the server stopped responding after the "style"
section of the header...so all we had was a white page..we went ahead and bought the mp3 single
Kesha - Die Young on Amazon . We also bought Chambao / Con Otro Aire (2007) CD ,
we will have to wait until our 'free' server becomes more stable before we can update stuff.
Need to add a single to Elena Risteskas' page, and an album to Schillers' page. Coincidently,
we find it strange that we have not actually seen Schillers' Sonne for sale anywhere (in the US)
online.

UPDATE
Our data center technicians confirmed that everything is OK on their end and the issue is of a wider scale, meaning that the connection is severed on an inter-continental radius. The appropriate authorities have already been contacted and at this time we can only wait until this is fixed. Once again, we heartily apologize for this huge inconvenience as we join You in waiting for the service to be restored.

cleaverb.netii.net is having some problems
We tried to do an update this morning, and possibly wiped out our main page.
It will not be a problem to upload it, except we can't get onto the server to make changes.

Listening to...
Tell you what, there isn't a whole lot of 'rockin' music in our recent purchases.
Serebro has a fine uptempo album, but somehow (definitely but hard to say it without breaking hearts)
their music is 10 times better in Russian than English.
Nelly Furtados has some good beats on her Spirit Indestructible, but nothing to brag about.
My favorites to just listen to right now are: Schiller / Sonne (and we need to add the album to our
schiller page) and Kenza Farah / 4 Love . Pretty mellow stuff ... so we have pulled out a ton of
stuff from our collection lately . We love to start with Alyona V / Rassvet , maybe work in some classic american rock, and then anything goes.
Have you ever heard Vinograd by Alyona ? Awesome accoustics. We linked to a video a month ago,
and the live performance is faithful to the studio version, to a T . Wish i had the link to add here,
just search Vinograd , and how many songs titled Vinograd are there in the world ?
I know we wrote some about our work schedule, and how hard we were working. Well now,
we are enjoying an extended lay-off. We are using the time to experiment with speaker box designs,
which requires listening to all kinds of music. Last night we even pulled out the Beethoven.
Hope you all are well and have a wonderful Thanksgiving (if you don't hear from us before thursday).
